Movie Madness – The Lord of the Rings!

With the second film in the Hobbit series looming on the horizon, now is a great time to catch up on your Tolkien. Emmanuelle tells us what she thinks of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The Lord of the Rings – Film Review

The Lord of the Rings movie is one of the most famous movies of our time. It has made millions of fans in the whole world. This film is based on the books written by Tolken, a saga of three films for a book trilogy. This film invites you in a magic world, the world of the “middle earth”.

The middle earth is threaten by bad forces from the Mordor. Sauron created a magic ring for all the kings and queens of the middle earth, the elves, the dwarves, the men and one malefic ring to govern them all. The mission to destroy the ring in the destiny mountain will be in the hands of a little man, a hobbit, called Frodo, with the help of some friends, men, elves and dwarves.

A well achieved film that takes you from the beginning until the end in this world. The director knows how to create a special atmosphere with special effects as well in the dark scenes as in the bright ones.

The scenery makes a wonderful dimension to the movie due to the amazing landscapes. Most of the film is set in New Zealand with its wide and wild nature.

Most films based on a book are quite disappointing compared to the book but in the case of the Lord of the Rings we can say that the film is as amazing as the book. Although it doesn’t contain all the scenes and the details of the book. But if it was the case, the film would last 5 hours!
